Good Credit Card News

I just was able to transfer $6,000 from the 20% Optima to a 0% Chase card. To me, this is great news. I think that I'll take the inheritance I mentioned earlier, along with the small tax refund, and put it all on the Amex. That will take care of around $3,000 worth of debt right there. Along with the $1,100 in proceeds from the Savings Bonds we sold, the Amex Optima card will be nearly paid off. The rest will be gone by the end of the summer. That will be a 20% monkey off my back.

What a great day for us, financially speaking. Tonight we're going to go out to dinner at our favorite faux Mexican place to celebrate (don't worry, it's in the budget).
